We would like to inform you that GTSTRUDL® Version 41 has been officially released and distributed to customers having an active maintenance contract.
The new version, 41, includes the latest version of CAD Modeler and Report Builder in the same license and CD, at no additional cost.
Most important features of Version 41 are:
- Additional finite element integrity checking has been added to the consistency phase of stiffness matrix calculation
- A new command has been added to control planar geometry checking for Finite Elements
- New codes have been added to CREATE AUTOMATIC LOAD COMBINATIONS DESIGN. The new code options are ASCE716A, ASCE722L and ASCE722A
- Type WT has been added to the STORE DESIGN LOAD VARIABLES types. WT indicates a tornado wind load to be used with ASCE 7-22 design loads
- Dynamic Results has been added to GTMenu (Active Modes, Display Time History, Display Response Spectrum)
- Nonlinear Spring creation and review have been added to GTMenu
- A new option has been added to the Edit -> Split Members dialog to allow you have GTMenu detect Interference Joints and split the selected members at those points
Most important features of CAD Modeler are:
- CAD Modeler now supports BricsCAD version 2022 and version 2023
- The ability to create both ASCE 7-16 Open Structure Wind Loads has been added
- The ability to create both ASCE 7-22 Open Structure Wind Loads has been added
Most important features of Base Plate Wizard are:
- Triangular meshing
- Circular plates
- Radial Stiffeners option if Pipe attachments exist
