Carlos Coronado

Carlos Coronado, structural engineer at Bechtel, shares why structural engineers should choose GT STRUDL in this new video. His main experience with GT STRUDL is for the dynamic analysis of machine foundations and nuclear structures.

Why choose GT STRUDL? “One of the best things is that it has a very strong QA program, so you know that the results that you are getting are reliable. If they have implemented a feature in the software, it has been tested before releasing it,” said Coronado.

“There are other software programs that may have many features and they release them, but without testing, and they expect the engineers to test them in the real world, which is actually an extremely dangerous proposition.”

“I definitely trust the results from GT STRUDL,” said Coronado. “I haven’t found problems with GT STRUDL, so I find it quite reliable.

In the video, he discusses two presentations that he gave during HxGN Local CAU Houston 2016:

  • Part 1: Analysis and Design of Foundations under Dynamic Loads using GT STRUDL
  • Part 2: Application of GT STRUDL for the Analysis and Design of Industrial Structures under Flow-Induced Vibration
